Venice Port Change Update and Information

We want to make sure our guests know that due to Italian government restrictions recently implemented on cruise ships docking in Venice, Seabourn will now begin and end our itineraries in Ravenna, Italy, rather than Venice as previously scheduled. Guests who have already booked a voyage affected by this change have been notified.

Ravenna, an elegant town in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, is most famous for its early Christian and Byzantine mosaics, some of which have been given UNESCO World Heritage status. Ravenna is a tucked-away gem, away from the main tourist areas in Italy, and provides an opportunity to explore this beautiful city more casually and experience the area like a local.

We still recommend that guests fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) as the largest international airport in the area with the most available flights, however flights to smaller, regional airports closer to Ravenna include are the airport of Florence - Firenze (FLR), Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) or Forlì International Airport (FRL).

We regret any inconvenience these changes may cause and appreciate our guests understanding.
